Sending invitations
Admins and owners (subject to org settings) can invite users by email:
- Invitations specify a role: admin or member (owners are not created via invite in the same way—they’re tied to org creation).
- Each invite has a unique token and expiry date.
- Statuses include pending, accepted, expired, and revoked.
Accepting an invitation
- Open the invite link from the email (or paste the token if your app supports it).
- Sign in or sign up as the invited email.
- Accept to join the organization with the assigned role.
Email delivery
Optional fields track email sent time and errors so admins can retry or fix typos.
Revoking invites
Pending invites can be revoked so the token no longer works. Expired invites must be re-sent.
