Creating an organization

When you first onboard, you may create an organization or join via invitation. The user who creates an org is typically the owner.

Organization switcher

Use the organization switcher in the dashboard header to change the active organization. All of the following are usually scoped to the current org:

• Agents and agent settings
• Knowledge files and crawl jobs
• Conversations and analytics
• Channels and integrations
• Billing and subscription

Member limits

Plans define maximum members (maxUsers) and related limits (conversations, channels, agents—see Plans & billing). If you hit a limit, upgrade the plan or remove members as your admin allows.

Owner responsibilities

The owner manages subscription linkage (Stripe customer), high-level settings, and who can invite others—depending on your organization settings (allowMemberInvites, etc.).
