Where it appears
The agent switcher in the top navigation appears on routes that are agent-scoped, including (in the default app):
- Agent settings (
/agent-settings) - Widget customization (
/customization) - Integrations (
/integrations) - Channels (
/channels)
Behavior
- Picking an agent sets the active agent for embed snippet generation, channel linking, and settings on those pages.
- The URL may include
?agentId=query parameters so links are shareable within your team.
Always verify
Before copying embed code or connecting a channel, confirm the switcher shows the intended agent. Wrong agent selection is a common cause of “wrong personality” or “missing tools” in production.
