Agent settings
Route
Dashboard → Agent settings (/agent-settings) configures the selected agent (confirm via agent switcher).
What you configure
Typical options include:
- Instructions — system / support persona, tone, guardrails
- Built-in tools — enable or disable escalation, resolution, search, book appointment, and optional workflow tools (decks, PDFs, browser research, etc.) — see Built-in AI tools
- Model or temperature when exposed
- Follow-up suggestions or similar UX features when enabled for your workspace
Effect on channels
Changes apply to all channels and embeds using this agent after save—re-test widget and at least one messaging channel.
