Dashboard → Appointments (/appointments) manages scheduled meetings or slots tied to your organization (implementation may integrate external calendars or internal tables).
Book appointment tool
The builtin:bookAppointment tool lets the AI propose or book times during a conversation when enabled in Agent settings (see Built-in AI tools).
Workflows
Typical flow:
- Customer asks for a meeting in Inbox or widget.
- Agent calls bookAppointment with parameters your tool schema defines.
- A record is created and confirmations go through email or calendar integration as configured.
Permissions
Restrict who can view or cancel appointments via roles and UI policies.
