Setup

Configure SMS under Dashboard → Channels with the provider credentials your deployment supports (numbers, API keys, webhooks).

Incoming SMS

Inbound messages hit the SMS webhook (/channels/sms/webhook?organizationId=...), are validated, and become channel messages linked to conversations.

Outgoing SMS

Replies respect segment limits and encoding (GSM vs Unicode) per carrier rules—very long AI answers may split into multiple SMS parts.

Compliance

Follow TCPA, opt-in, and STOP keyword rules for your region. SMS is high-compliance—coordinate with legal for campaigns.

Costs
